Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded, mostly in the horror or martial arts categories. Her style of review and methodology is similar to The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action movies that have a twisted fascination. Her reviews started in the latter half of 2009, and when she began to gain some recognition (under the old name Obscurus-Lupa), Allison Pregler became part of the family at Channel Awesome. The website remained online until the early days of the year 2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was redesigned into Movie Nights. The two podcasts she hosts are and covering Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. He has also had her appear as a guest in some episodes of his series Midnight Screenings. She reviews awful films for kids or RiffTrax shows, as well occasionally, she reviews adult comedy (including Baywatch (2017)). When she began reviewing films in 2009, she gained fame on Channel Awesome's forums. Before joining the official family that comprises Channel Awesome reviewers, she gained a lot of attention. She has made numerous appearances in Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was a former member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and was often seen in episodes of the Nostalgia Critic.
