It was music that I would consider feminine, so allowing myself to accept the current level of femininity is a real difficult task. It was really difficult for me to go, "Okay, I can be feminine, soft, and strong and take care of me and not shrink myself." This was something I enjoyed very much. I read some of the tours' books, in fact which is really wonderful to have this kind of universe that one can retreat to, because when you're on tour, you're always moving between cities but it's also confusing, and the ability to experience the most vivid, vibrant universe sleeping in my bed at night is very relaxing.
